Collection: Obsidian
A natural volcanic glass, formed when molten lava cools so quickly
that crystals do not have time to develop.
Unlike most minerals,
obsidian has no regular crystal structure —
its surface is smooth, dark, and often glass-like.
It is typically black,
though variations can show subtle patterns
such as silver sheen or snowflake formations.
Obsidian has been used since prehistoric times,
shaped into blades, tools, and arrowheads
for its sharp edges and clean fracture.
Its formation leaves little time for order —
resulting in a material that feels direct,
unlayered, and complete in a single moment.
