Aquamarine

A blue variety of beryl,
formed slowly within pegmatite rock.

Its color comes from trace iron,
giving it a clear, water-like tone.

Known since ancient times,
it was carried by sailors from Ancient Rome,
who believed it offered protection at sea —
its name meaning “sea water.”

Today, it’s often associated with calm and clarity,
especially in how thoughts are expressed.
