Amethyst & Chrome Diopside Flower Ring

A flower-shaped ring built from polished Amethyst petals and a raw Chrome Diopside centre.

The Amethyst comes from Brazil, shaped and polished into soft, rounded forms that reflect light in a more diffused way. In contrast, the Chrome Diopside from Russia is left raw — its surface more textured, its colour deeper and more concentrated.

Formation:
Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz formed from silica-rich fluids in volcanic environments, with its colour influenced by trace iron and natural irradiation. Chrome Diopside is a calcium magnesium silicate mineral, with its vivid green colour derived from chromium. It typically forms in high-pressure geological environments and is valued for its strong colour despite often occurring in smaller crystal sizes.
