A three-stone freeform ring made with Brazilian amethyst, citrine, and black tourmalinated quartz.

Each stone is polished into an organic freeform shape, keeping an irregular silhouette rather than a standard cut. The purple amethyst brings a deep, clear tone, while citrine adds warm golden light. The black tourmalinated quartz is filled with natural dark needle-like inclusions, creating ink-like lines suspended inside the clear quartz.

Formation:
Amethyst, citrine, and tourmalinated quartz are all quartz-based stones. Amethyst forms its purple color through trace iron and natural irradiation during crystal growth, while citrine develops yellow to golden tones through iron-related color centers. Tourmalinated quartz forms when quartz grows around or alongside black tourmaline crystals, trapping fine needle-like inclusions inside the quartz and creating its distinctive dark internal lines.
