Its purple color can vary from soft lavender to deep violet depending on the mineral conditions.

Herkimer Diamond Quartz is a naturally clear, double-terminated quartz crystal form known for its bright, glassy appearance. These crystals grow freely in open spaces, allowing points to develop on both ends rather than being attached to a base. Natural inclusions, surface textures, and variations in clarity are part of their crystal character.
