Formation:
Blue rutilated quartz is a variety of quartz containing fine needle-like or thread-like mineral inclusions enclosed during crystal growth. These internal inclusions create the distinctive blue, fibrous appearance seen within the stone. The contrast between the transparent quartz body and the suspended mineral threads gives each piece natural depth and variation.
