About This Piece

This specimen comes from Congo,
home to some of the most beautiful dioptase crystals in the world.
Unlike cut gemstones, this crystal remains completely natural —
its shape formed deep within the Earth.
Nothing polished.
Nothing reshaped.
Just nature’s own mineral structure.

Stone: Natural Dioptase
Origin: Congo
Formation: Dioptase forms as a secondary copper silicate mineral through the weathering and oxidation of copper-rich deposits. It typically crystallizes in small cavities, where mineral-rich solutions allow bright green crystals to develop over time. In Congo deposits, dioptase is often found on matrix, with crystals growing directly on their host rock in well-defined forms.
Ring material: Brass with gold-tone finish.
Alternative finishes and sterling silver versions may be available upon request, depending on the design.
