About This Piece
About This Piece
A green prehnite, quartz, and magnetite mineral specimen ring, featuring pale green crystal formations with natural dark magnetite inclusions. The stone keeps its raw clustered texture rather than being polished into a smooth gemstone, giving the piece a soft but strongly mineral-inspired appearance.
Prehnite is known for its gentle green color and was one of the first minerals named after a person — Colonel Hendrik von Prehn, who brought specimens from South Africa to Europe in the 18th century. It is often found in cavities and veins, sometimes growing together with quartz and dark iron-rich minerals such as magnetite.
What makes this ring special is the contrast: the prehnite has a soft, almost misty green look, while the black magnetite inclusions add natural depth and a more earthy, specimen-like character. It feels delicate in color, but raw and organic in structure.
Stone Meaning
Stone Meaning
Prehnite is often associated with calm, emotional healing, inner peace, and gentle protection. Its pale green tone gives it a soft, soothing feeling, often linked with the heart, renewal, and quiet emotional balance.
Quartz is commonly connected with clarity and amplification, while magnetite adds a grounding, stabilizing quality. Together, this combination feels peaceful but anchored — a meaningful piece for someone drawn to softness, growth, and steady inner strength.
Details
Details
Stone: Green Prehnite with Quartz and Magnetite
Source: China
Formation: Prehnite forms in hydrothermal environments, often developing into botryoidal structures as mineral-rich fluids deposit layers over time. Druzy quartz crystals grow later on the surface, forming fine crystalline coatings within available spaces. Dark magnetite inclusions occur when iron-rich minerals become incorporated during formation. Together, these elements reflect multiple stages of mineral growth within a single specimen.
Ring material: Brass with silver-tone finish.
Alternative finishes and sterling silver versions may be available upon request, depending on the design.
