Hand-cut from raw Moonstone from Sri Lanka, this ring is shaped into a soft crystal flower and paired with two natural Citrine from Brazil. The Moonstone shows its signature floating glow, known as adularescence, while the warm golden Citrine adds a subtle contrast at the center and on the second stone setting. Moonstone has been admired since ancient times and was once believed by the Romans to hold solidified moonlight, which gives this piece a quiet sense of romance as well as light.

Formation:
Moonstone is a variety of feldspar known for its adularescence, an optical effect caused by light scattering between thin internal layers formed during crystal growth. Citrine is a quartz variety whose golden tone comes from trace iron and natural heat-related processes within the earth over time.
