About This Piece

A crystal flower ring composed of five natural octahedral fluorites from China, centered with a small peridot. The fluorites include two blue, two green, and one purple crystal, arranged by hand into a geometric bloom.

Fluorite has long been admired by mineral collectors for its color range and natural geometry. Its name comes from the Latin fluere, meaning “to flow,” because fluorite was historically used as a flux in metal smelting. It is also famous for the term “fluorescence” — a word that was named after fluorite, as some specimens can glow under ultraviolet light.

What makes this piece special is the way nature’s geometry becomes floral. The fluorite crystals are not carved into petals; their octahedral form comes from natural crystal structure and cleavage. With the small peridot at the center, the ring feels like a colorful mineral blossom — structured, fresh, and quietly luminous.

Stone Meaning

Fluorite is often associated with clarity, focus, and emotional balance. In this ring, the different fluorite colors add subtle layers of meaning: blue fluorite is commonly linked with calm and clear communication, green fluorite with balance and growth, and purple fluorite with intuition and deeper insight.

At the center, peridot brings a fresh note of renewal, optimism, and positive energy. Together, the stones create a feeling of clear thought, inner stability, and new movement — a meaningful piece for someone drawn to color, balance, and quiet personal growth.

Details

Stone: Octahedral Fluorite, Peridot
Source: China / Pakistan

Formation:
Fluorite forms in hydrothermal environments, where mineral-rich fluids slowly crystallize into cubic or octahedral structures. Its natural octahedral form reflects stable internal crystal symmetry, giving it its precise geometric shape.
Peridot is a gem variety of olivine, formed in magnesium-rich environments deep within the earth and known for its fresh green color.

Ring material: Brass with gold-tone finish.

Alternative finishes and sterling silver versions may be available upon request, depending on the design.

One size — fits most (approx. US 5.5–10.5)

• Each crystal is naturally unique
• Shape, clarity and color zoning may vary
• Natural fluorite may show internal patterns or inclusions
• Hand-set stones may show slight differences in arrangement

Care

Because this piece features natural raw crystals, gentle care will help preserve its beauty.

• Avoid strong impact or dropping the ring
• Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising
• Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and chemicals
• Store separately to protect the crystals
Clean gently with a soft dry cloth when needed.
