About This Piece

This ring brings four minerals together in a small garden-like composition. The purple flower is made from raw Brazilian amethyst, a quartz variety once associated in ancient Greek culture with a clear and steady mind. At the center sits blue apatite from Madagascar — a mineral whose name comes from the Greek apate, meaning “deceit,” because it was historically mistaken for other gemstones. Golden citrine adds a warm, sunlit note, while Indian apophyllite brings a glassy, crystalline texture often seen in mineral specimens formed inside volcanic cavities.

The result feels playful but still refined — a tiny raw crystal garden with color, texture, and natural mineral character.

Stone Meaning

Amethyst is often connected with calm, clarity, and emotional balance. Blue apatite is associated with focus, communication, and motivation. Citrine is traditionally linked with confidence, optimism, and abundance, while apophyllite is often chosen for lightness, openness, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Together, these stones create a feeling of clear intention, steady energy, and quiet brightness — like carrying a small garden of focus and light on your hand.

Details

Stone: Amethyst (Brazil), Blue Apatite (Madagascar), Citrine (Brazil), Apophyllite (India)
Source: Brazil, Madagascar, India

Formation:
Amethyst and citrine are both varieties of quartz. Amethyst gets its purple color from trace iron and natural irradiation within the crystal structure, while citrine’s golden tones are also related to iron-bearing quartz. Blue apatite is a phosphate mineral that can form in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary environments, often appearing in vivid blue to blue-green shades depending on trace elements. Apophyllite commonly forms as glassy crystals in cavities within volcanic rocks, especially basalt, where mineral-rich fluids deposit crystals over time.

Ring material: Brass with silver-tone finish.
Alternative finishes and sterling silver versions may be available upon request, depending on the design.
