This raw crystal ring is built around a small flower form made from Madagascar Blue Apatite, with a China Chalcopyrite center that catches the light with a metallic golden flash. Set diagonally across the band are two pieces of Russia Chrome Diopside, adding a deep green contrast to the blue mineral flower.

Blue apatite is a phosphate mineral — part of the same broad mineral family connected to bones and teeth — while chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulfide known for its brassy metallic surface. Chrome diopside gets its vivid green color from chromium, the same element that gives emerald its green tone.
