Formation:
Garnet is a group of silicate minerals that form under high pressure and temperature, typically within metamorphic rocks. Over time, crystal growth occurs as mineral-rich fluids interact within the host rock, resulting in dense, richly colored crystals with naturally irregular surfaces.
