About This Piece
About This Piece
This piece features tanzanite-colored fluorite from Fujian, China, preserved in its natural mineral specimen form.
Its vivid violet-blue tone is what gives it the “tanzanite-colored” name — not because it is tanzanite, but because the color can resemble the deep blue-violet look of the gemstone. This Fujian fluorite became especially interesting to collectors for its saturated color, natural crystal structure, and luminous layered depth.
Fluorite has long been admired for its remarkable range of colors and recognizable geometric growth. Its name comes from the Latin fluere, meaning “to flow,” because fluorite was historically used as a flux in metalworking. It is also the mineral that gave fluorescence its name, as some fluorite specimens glow under ultraviolet light.
Unlike polished gemstone jewelry, this piece keeps the mineral closer to its geological origin — with clustered crystal faces, natural zoning, and a raw specimen texture. It feels cool-toned, architectural, and quietly unusual: a small piece of mineral history made wearable.
Stone Meaning
Stone Meaning
Tanzanite-colored Fluorite is often associated with clarity, intuition, focus, and emotional balance. Many people are drawn to fluorite for its calm, cooling presence and its layered, almost dreamlike depth of color.
Because fluorite naturally forms in geometric crystal structures, it is also often connected with order, perspective, and clear thinking — a stone associated less with intensity, and more with quiet mental clarity and steadiness.

Details
Stone: Tanzanite Fluorite
Source: Fujian, China
Formation:
Fluorite is a calcium fluoride mineral that commonly forms in hydrothermal environments, where mineral-rich fluids move through fractures and open spaces within surrounding rock. As temperatures and chemical conditions change over time, fluorite crystallizes in distinct geometric forms, most famously cubes and stepped cubic aggregates.
The blue-violet colour in this Fujian material is influenced by trace elements, structural defects, and natural radiation exposure during crystal growth. Many specimens show layered zoning, where shifts in the mineralizing environment create variations in colour intensity and translucency within the same crystal group.
Ring material: Brass with silver-tone finish.
Alternative finishes and sterling silver versions may be available upon request, depending on the design.

Care
Care
Because this piece features natural raw crystals, gentle care will help preserve its beauty.
• Avoid strong impact or dropping the ring
• Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising
• Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and chemicals
• Store separately to protect the crystals
Clean gently with a soft dry cloth when needed.
