About this piece
This ring features a natural epidote mineral specimen from Turkey, prized for its dense, sharply formed crystal growth and deep green tone. Epidote gets its name from the Greek word epidosis, meaning “increase” or “addition,” referring to the way one side of its crystals often develops longer than the other. Well-crystallized epidote specimens from Turkey are especially admired for their dramatic structure and strong visual presence, making pieces like this feel closer to a collector’s mineral specimen than a conventional stone ring.
