Collection: Purple Grape Agate

A variety of chalcedony,
known for its small, rounded formations
that resemble clusters of grapes.

These surfaces are formed through botryoidal growth,
where mineral deposits build up in tiny spheres over time.

Despite the name,
it is not a true agate in the banded sense,
but a form of microcrystalline quartz.

Most purple grape agate comes from Indonesia,
where it forms in tightly packed, grape-like clusters.

Defined more by structure than clarity,
each piece reflects how it grew —
layer by layer, sphere by sphere.
